Matthew 6:31-32 “So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear? For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.”

![]() After watching the first series of The Bible last night, I began to reflect over my life and just how blessed I am. I mean, we are all so very blessed to be living during this day and time. If you take notice, none of the true followers of God had everything laid out on a silver platter for them. They fought hard and had to prove their faithfulness to God and then the blessings came. Why do we feel that we deserve the blessing without putting in the work? We are so spoiled. We have the best of everything. Now, I don’t mean that we are walking around with the latest Bentley or million dollar mansions, but what we have so many others lack. Clean water to drink, clothes on our backs, healthcare, food to eat, a bed to lie on and a roof over our head. Let us take the time to reflect on His goodness today. Let us not complain about what we don’t have but be thankful for what we do have. May I also add that most of the wealthy individuals back in Biblical times were the ones who worshiped their own gods and not the one and only true God and might I mentioned that in the end many were destroyed and their money, gold and false gods couldn't save them. Reflect, be happy, be thankful, praise and have faith in Yahweh. Matthew 6:31-32 “So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear? For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.”
