BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Monica K. Harris an Ordained Pastor, National Certified Chaplain, Author, Life Coach and Bible Teacher known internationally.
Dr. Monica K. Harris is founder of My Scars Ministry, LLC which helps individuals gain back their self-esteem and identity after being wounded and scarred mentally, physically, emotionally, or spiritually. She has served on the Executive Board and Council with Women of Excellence Full Gospel and Community of Sisters International Ministry.
Dr. Monica is a 2-time recipient of the ACHI Magazine Awards in Atlanta. She has been recognized for her dedication to the community and those around her at several events including Removal of The Bandages and many others and recently received her honorary Doctorate of Divinity through Emet Global Theological Seminary and College along with her 2nd Certification in Chaplaincy.
Dr. Monica was born in the small city of Mansfield, Ohio to a 15-year-old single mother. It was love at first site for her grandparents and she was taken in and raised by them at the tender age of 6 months.
She was raised by one the most God-fearing and loving grandmothers a person could ever pray for, and she was the apple of her grandfather’s eye. She truly was daddy’s little girl.
Dr. Monica went through many personal attacks growing up, but never understood why. However, God showed up mightily and was with her through every situation. She knew that she was favored in His sight.
Her life has been battle after battle, but also testimony after testimony to the goodness of God.
Dr. Monica has a passion for helping people and sharing the love of God with all. Her life exemplifies that love to all who come into contact with her.
She is a loyal, loving, caring and compassionate woman of God with a lifetime of awesome testimonies and miracles., who is now dedicated to serving others and sharing the true Word of God in such a time as this.
She is eternally grateful for everything that has happened in her life; the good, the bad and the ugly because through it all God has gotten and will continue to get all the glory.
Although Dr. Monica has been knocked down many times, God continues to lift her up and she perseveres on with her favorite motto
"Still, I Rise"!
