Proverbs 11:30 “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.”

For us believers, it is very important that we remember where we came from. No, I’m not talking about the genealogy of the cause and who your earthly parents are; but, I’m talking about from the curse of Adam and Eve in the garden. See, we were ALL born into sin no matter whom we are or who our parents are. Some of us grew up in the faith and have been “in the church” all of our lives and some of us didn’t find our way until later in life. The point I want to make now is this. Just because you see another fall or another person battling something does not make them any less likely to see Heaven than you. What are you saying, Lady Monica? I’m saying don’t judge another person by their sin because they sin differently than you do. Gasp….. Yes, we all sin in some form or fashion. We’d be kidding ourselves to say that we don’t. So, now that we are faced with reality what do we do? Instead of condemning others for their struggles we should help them out. And, instead of hiding ours we should confess them to our brothers and sisters in order that we may gain the strength needed to help us, along with God, to overcome them. So, before you start pointing fingers at your brothers and sisters, point that finger at the one facing you in the mirror. We all are in this together therefore, let us rise up together. There are some things that happen in our life that we truly cannot explain. Things that hurt us to the very core of our being and it seems that those things always happen in abundance. Many times those very things tend to drive us into irrational thoughts and behaviors, which we regret. We begin to feel unworthy. My word for you today is God knows every little and big thing about you. He knows your public sins as well as your private sins. The question for you now is, “Are you really sorry?” “Are you repenting with true sincerity?” If you are and have then God will not turn you away. He sees your tears, He sees the pain. He won’t condemn you for your mistake, nor turn you away like so many others would, but instead He will wipe those tears away, heal your pain and clean you up so that you may walk in your God given purpose. The only time that it is too late for you is when you have given up on you. It’s okay that you made a mistake or even mistakes. We all do. But, God is love and mercy and grace and HE extends them to us freely. Surely grace and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives. Our Father is not sitting behind a tree waiting for us to fall so that He can condemn us to hell. He is a God of many chances and all that you have to do is give Him the chance to make a difference in your life. Pick up the pieces and remember that you are blessed to be a blessing to others. Love Always ~ Lady Monica Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” We have always heard that the Bible is the living word, but I am not sure how many of us actually understand what that means. Watching the series “The Bible” over this past 5 weeks has truly been an enlightening experience. The producers actually brought to life many stories in the Bible. If we can now maintain that feeling each time that we read the Bible then it will impact our life in a different way. We must read the Bible as if it is speaking directly to us and apply it as so. The experience that those prophets and apostles went through during the time of the Messiah and before was surreal. They lived and died horrifically for what they believed in. We have no right to complain. We must do better. They left us instructions to follow and what needs to be done as we now have to continue the message. In short, we are the modern day disciples. Now, we each must ask ourselves the question, “Are we willing to live and die for the Messiah the way His true disciples did?” I’m not saying that it will come to that point, but if it does; what will you do? The Messiah died a horrific, excruciating death on that cross for the sins of the world even though He was sinless. At the very time that He was taking His last breath, He felt every emotion anyone could ever feel. He felt alone because that is the one time that Yahweh had to leave Him because our Father simply cannot be a part of any type of sin. But, what was in store for Him and for us outweighed that temporary pain. My word to you is no matter what you may be going through at this time, no matter how painful it may be, as long as you are faithful to God and believe in Him then He will see you through and your reward will outweigh any painful experience that you have had to endure. Be encouraged. Blessings – Lady Monica (Luke 23:46) “ Jesus called out with a loud voice, 'Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.' When he had said this, he breathed his last." |
